Besides the port itself, there is a large variety of museums such as the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Baltimore Museum of Wax, the Baltimore Museum of Science and other touristic attractions that are worthy of a visit.

The Harbor place, the National Aquarium and the Maryland Zoo are great destinations if you want to spend the day surrounded by nature.

Also called the Charm City, Baltimore has hosted over 10 million visitors in the last years. After a tiring day through the cultural life of Baltimore, you can relax and enjoy the traditional dishes based on seafood at the Baltimore inner harbor restaurants, and then check out what is new through their shops.

The Baltimore Port was founded in 1706. It is able to accommodate the largest shipping vessels as well as cruise ships. Unfortunately, it is more developed on the industrial side than on the tourist side. That is why there are not many departures for cruises from Baltimore.

Port of Baltimore Cruise Terminal Essentials

Baltimore has only one cruise terminal. From it, only two cruise lines have departures: the Royal Caribbean and the Carnival. The port of Baltimore is more than 300 years old, but the terminal has been modernized and enlarged in the past years. Five smaller ports were merged to form today’s Baltimore Cruise Port. Baltimore has both cruise and cargo ports with services and promotions on both sides.
